Roofing Systems That Perform On Flat And Low Sloped Roofs In Colorado, Wyoming, And Western Kansas.

GENERAL

CSU
Our firm provides fluid applied systems for reroofing applications in Colorado, Wyoming, and western Kansas through a network of qualified applicators. Applications range from very large commercial flat roofs to small residential roofs and everything in between. Most applications are in repairing or replacing existing roofs including builtup (asphalt), single ply (rubber and EPDM) and metal roofs.

ROOFING MANUFACTURERS
We represent the roofing divisions of General Electric Silicones, Resin Technology Company, and Everest Coatings/Polythane.

SEAMLESS ROOFING

TRACK RECORD
Fluid applied insulated Roofing Systems (SPF) have been used to solve roofing problems in the Rocky Mountains for over 30 years. Many large local institutions including Colorado State University and the National Bureau of Standards (NIST) in Boulder have used these systems for years.

SEAMLESS
The system is completely seamless. Other roofing systems have thousands of feet of seams and seams are often the leak source in other roofing materials such as builtup (tar and gravel) and rubber roofs (single ply). In fact, a properly installed fluid applied Insulated Roofing System has one of the lowest leak ratios in the roofing industry.

FLASHING A PENETRATION
SELF FLASHING
Parapet walls and penetrations are sealed without the need for metal flashing. The system also can be used to seal up falling brick parapets and leaking walls.

COST EFFECTIVE
The fluid applied Insulated Roofing System is a low to moderate cost roofing system and provides insulation and low maintenance. The system is particularly cost effective on roofs with multiple penetrations. Typical installed costs are included after each section.

ADDS INSULATION
The system adds about R 6.5 to R 13 or more of insulation to the old roofing system. In addition, the insulation is seamless and offers the highest R values per inch in the industry.

AVOIDS COSTLY TEAROFFS
The system can be applied to many old roofs without the need for a costly tearoff and the accompanying business disruption. The system can be applied over old built up, fully adhered single ply, modified bitumin and other old roofing systems.

LIGHT WEIGHT
The system is very light weight and typically weighs between 0.5 and 1.0 lbs per square foot. Many built up roofing systems and rubber roofs weigh as much as 8 to 10 lbs per square foot. This light weight helps with snow loads.

PONDING WATER

BUILD UP LOW AREAS
Low areas can be built up to grade on roofs with sagging decks or structural members. It seems as if the drains are always the highest point on a flat roof.

UL LISTED and ICBO LISTED
UL 790 Class A approvals, Factory Mutual and ICBO listings are available.*

ASBESTOS AND FORMALDEHYDE FREE
Unlike some roofing systems, all of these systems are free from asbestos and formaldehyde.

UNUSUAL SHAPES AND DESIGNS

DESIGN FLEXIBILITY
Fluid applied insulated systems can be applied to unusual shapes and configurations. This includes domes, freeform concrete structures and other unusual waterproofing/insulating configurations such as duct work.

FASTER, CLEANER and LESS ODOR
Complex projects can be completed in a very short time and with a minimum of interference with business activity. The system has much less odor than asphalt roofing or glued single plys.

METAL ROOF REPAIR
Metal roofs are often difficult to waterproof or insulate and these systems are ideal for this application. We can provide systems with or without insulation. These systems are very effective on metal roofs with multiple penetrations or heavy traffic. The insulated systems can help with condensation problems in agricultural or cold storage applications.
